warrengday
A great night. The 205s are just the best speakers I think I've ever heard.
illusion
Very enjoyable evening. Bernd Gruhn and Viognier did a great job of transporting us to Vienna for a few hours. Have to agree with Warren those JB205's are sensational. Also the smaller VC1 floorstanders were superb. Can't forget the electronics either Ypsillon again demonstrating why they are so highly regarded. P.S. Have to find a bottle of that fire water liqueur, damn it was good. Black Orange
Really enjoyed the evening. Loved the speakers and the associated gear. Speakers look sensational. Loved the finish.
evil c
Had a fantastic time - those Brodmann speakers were so seamless and dynamic and portrayed music in a natural way akin to hearing the performance live! Majority of the music played was classical which took me away from my normal genres and comfort zone which is what Bernd Gruhn intended to do. I and several others asked for a copy of his playlist to expand my limited collection as it's very daunting knowing which labels and recordings to get of different composers. Every seat was taken and it was great to catch up with the other Stereonetters - although I would have liked to have seen more there.
Volunteer sir sanders zingmore Posted October 10, 2014 Volunteer Share Posted October 10, 2014 Any chance you could post the playlist up here when you get it, evil?
Administrator Marc Posted October 11, 2014 Author Administrator Share Posted October 11, 2014 What a brilliant night and experience put together by Telos Audio and Burwood Music Centre. I'll publish a small news piece on the front page over the weekend with some more information. Unfortunately I was fumbling my way through a new camera and flash and struggled to find a way to shoot in the very dim lighting without a tripod. Learned a few tricks though, but apologies for the poor quality photos.

samman
Had a great night, some of the best sounding speakers I've heard effortless, dynamic, engaging. Driven by World Class Ypsilon gear and one of the best sounding digital front ends I've ever had the privilege to listen to.. Thanks to our hosts Mark and Con from Telos Audio... and Bernd Gruhn from Brodmann Acoustics for taking us on a musical journey.
