In addition to the standard wall wart power supply I built the "Little Pinkie" power supply as described at the Rock Grotto web site (link below) using the Nuvotem toroidal transformer. This really steps up the performance of the buffer to another level.  Add to that the 2 new 6112s tubes included and you will get a very long life from this combo.
