Darren69 Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Oh what horrible news. I was aware that he has always struggled with depression, which I believe is quite common amongst comedians. Very very sad. RIP, make God laugh. 1
Jone5y Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 That's very sad news. He was a remarkable actor and comedian. 1

Chopsus Maximus Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Sad ... Occupational hazard it would seem ... Depression. 1
Nada Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Robin will be sorely missed. Suicide is a killer. "The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that each year approximately one million people die from suicide or one death every 40 seconds. It is predicted that by 2020 the rate of death will increase to one every 20 seconds." There goes another.... 1
Chopsus Maximus Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 (edited) remerber mork and mindy? My favorite as a kid ... Always loved the Happy Days episode, where it think Mork first appeared, and that thumb vs finger battle with Fonzie! So Cool! Edited August 12, 2014 by Chopsus Maximus 1
shaky Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Mork and Mindy (and Happy days) were some of the only few US sitcoms I watched as a kid growing up. Also some of my favs. Such a nice guy, a sad loss to comedy, to TV, to movies and the world. 1
Addicted to music Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Didn't expect this to happen. What a loss, I loved this guy, one of my favourite actors http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/movies/actor-robin-williams-dead-aged-63-20140812-102zzn.html
surprisetech Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 (edited) RIP Robin. Was never afraid of taking on the difficult roles and in doing so has left us with many indelible movie memories. World according to Garp is a favourite. It taught me that it's OK to buy something that's broken. Or; "pre-disastered"! (plane crash scene) Found it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBSAeqdcZAM Edited August 12, 2014 by surprisetech 1
