Well the dear A21 went back from whence it came today (Park Beach Hi Fi at Coffs Harbour).

It is on commission there at the moment and (I believe) basically sold. I have had a few enquiries so if one is interested, feel free to chat to Gav at Park Beach Hi Fi on 02 6652 3725 but I assume he will give the original enquirer first suck of the sav.

It has been a fantastic amp for the bucks and got me into this ridiculous addiction. It is apparently going to power a set of the new Focal Aria floor standers, if the purchase goes head.

So to keep the music flowing, the dear old Sony has been dusted off (integrated, same as Winter is selling here).

You know what, with some pi$$y lamp wire speaker cables, it still sound more than OK, haha.

I guess this gives weight to the 'start with speakers first' argument. Maybe.

I believe dear @@Yuh has dropped the JC1's to @@Zaphod Beeblebrox place, it will be interesting to hear Trevs thoughts when he gets a chance to pop the bonnet(s).

Well!!! If i had of known you were in Coffs I could have brought the "monos" with me 2 weeks ago to give you a demo. Nevermind though, if I can find someone to build me a rack out of Qland maple to my specs may keep them & whack some integrateds' on the shelf too.

I live 1 hr north of Coffs mate, and 5 mins west of Grafton.

The only reason to get rid of the big Sanders monos would be to upgrade to something very spectacular which would sound, oh, 0.001% better, I reckon....

You need to update your signature (is that what it is called?)  Do you need a better pre-amp, now?

Good point Brad, done.

Pre will eventually be the DEQX Premate, after the room has finished getting it's treatment and bass analysis comes back from Paul (Red Spade Audio) Spencer regarding whether a sub would be beneficial.

It's nice to have a clear direction, I was floundering a bit a month or so ago. The JC1's coming up cheap etc have certainly helped give me a clear picture.
