LeChocolateMan
Hey everyone , I just bought this amp today from Apollo Hifi at a great price. (addicted to audio pricematch @ $560)If your after a sleek , compact but powerful complete unit - look no further ! This thing is brilliant , Bluetooth range , DAC quality is excellent ..... and finally at last the power is INSANE for the size.Whether its a simple compact PC solution , A minimalist bedroom stereo pair...... this is perfect. Highly recommended !!!!For those curious I tested them on Dali Ikon 2's ... will have them running Wharfedale Diamond 121 soon .
essem
Good for you. I listen to a recapped original Nad 3020 every night in the bedroom. I'm very curious as to how the "d" version would compare (sound quality wise). Have you tried the AptX streaming over Bluetooth (supposedly CD quality)? Enjoy your new amp, it seems excellent value. LeChocolateMan
It's excellent . I don't think my iPhone 5s has bluetooth aptx but it still sounds brilliant . I can't obeying to imagine how much more detailed aptx would sound . The cherry on the cake is the asynchronous usb and it's very small foot print . Dads even amazed at what "30W" can do . I noticed unlike ebay random branded amps this one does not distort . Very impressed for an amp it's size.
Concept
Grats on the purchase. Will need an upodate further down the track once you have a few hours on it. Was looking into this for my PC and I am still interested but just don't need it right now. If I ever move the Decco 65 into the bedroom this would be high on the list to replace it. LeChocolateMan
D7050 is appealing if you can plug it to Ethernet/wifi , then you'll hand an entire control at your phone/tablet. But it's a huge jump in price and no analog for those using a great sound card or bedroom turntable .
