Midori
The banana plugs on my speaker cables were tight fit onto the power amp. In taking the cables off the amp last week, I must have rushed it too much and the plug actually came off the cable and was stuck on the amp. No problems, used a pair of pliers and got it out. Obviously, the damanged plug needs to be replaced. While at it, I was contemplating swaping out the banana connectors for spades. How difficult is it to change out the banana plug? Last thing I want is to ship this over to the distributor to have it fixed.
Pops110
I used Audioquest bananas on some Kimber 4 tc. They work really well. Just tighten up 2 grub screws and away you go. They weren't overly expensive either. Good luck. Cheers Dave.
Midori
Thanks. I probably need to take out the heat shrink and see how the original connectors are fixed. If it was crimped on, does it mean if need to cut away some of the wire?
