Heehee. Trouble is, my sh%t stirring comment failed to flush out @@Zaphod Beeblebrox , unless the Trev was awake to my cunning plan. :D

I love the look of it, if for no other reason in that at the very least, the designer(s) is/are trying something new. That alone is worth something. I believe they sound sublime...so a hi fi mag told me...snigger....

I dunno. I reckon toyotas are ugly in a boring way. They don't divide opinion much - not many people really hate or really love their design.

These amps are polarising. Whether you love or hate their looks, they force you to have an opinion.

What that has to do with sound quality, I have no idea.

Quite true, Toyotas are boring, safe and predictable in terms of styling and engineering. No, they don't polarise at all.

Yes, you're right that this is polarising in its execution and that's not necessarily a bad thing I suppose.

This amp is a bit like, if not a lot like, a Pagani Zonda supercar. It screams 'look out, I'm mad, bad and comin' your way'. This amp probably performs brilliantly, like a Zonda.

However, personally, I want brilliance and beauty at the same time. So, give me a Porsche 911 that no supercar can touch in driveability and a beautiful looking amp that performs brilliantly too.

Something like a Luxman, as an example. No, I don't own one but have contemplated them.
