You aim pretty high.  The Electrocompaniet integrated powerful enough to run your speakers (125 wpc into 8 ohms) comes in at $10k new.

Im looking at there intregrated amp ECI 5 Mk2, about $6500. The speakers il be using are my Proac D28, that sould be plenty of power

Just my Opinion but you could do a hell of allot better than electro, especially at integrated level and especially at that price!

Get a hold of Krispy cables in Adelaide he's got some ripper amplifiers from Bladelius and similar that youbwouldbbe far better off with;) once again Just MHO..

Cheers

Agree with Towny. If you're looking to drop $6 1/2 k, there's lots to consider and at that price point you should try to arrange to listen to amps with your own speakers.

You might also want to consider Modwright and Audia Flight. All different amps, all more than capable of 'powering' your ProAcs, but with slightly different sonics. You could also try contacting Boris at Absolute hi End, as he stocks all of the above brands and could give you some useful information on what might best suit your needs.

Ideally you'd be auditioning amps with your speakers otherwise it's a bit hard to tell if there is synergy.??

I think Clef sell proacs. Not sure who else (maybe audiophile in Brunswick st)

At this level its really important to audition together.

Check out what amps Clef in South Melbourne use with their Proacs and listen to a couple of different amps side by side — that would be my first stop.

You'd like to think they've done a lot of the "synergy" testing already and sell what works well together...maybe not to your exact liking, but certainly a better starting point than one single brand.

I was running my D28's with a Bladelius Thor Mk III, awesome combination!!  Power & finesse rapt up in a gorgeous body, 180w p/ch with huge power supply, currently retailing at about $8-$9K from memory.  The Blad is an absolute keeper as well, will stay with you long past you upgrade the D28's.

Clef from memory had their ProAc's setup with Cambridge Audio, wasn't to my liking.

I have run an Electro ECI-3 with Proac 1SC. I didn't think it was an ideal pairing. Proac have a prominent upper-midrange which gives them their sweetness and presence. The ECI-3 was similar in that regard, Combined, they were too much of a good thing, sometimes adding glare in my case (and room).

The ECI-5 Mk2 may differ to the earlier Electro integrateds, so best to listen to one with your Proacs.

Proacs are reputed to sound best with tubes. I believe they were (once) voiced using Audio Research amps. Tivoli may be worth a visit, as they carry both AR and Electro.

I would like to join the queue for an electro integrated too.
