Kaynin Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Trying to relive his youth... These days I just tap my toe...

Fangzie Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 According to this article, it's fairly unlikely. And, as the doctor supposedly stated, "Rock 'n' roll will never die," Islamian said. "Heavy metal fans should rock on." http://gawker.com/dad-gets-brain-injury-from-headbanging-to-motorhead-1600067768
Kaynin Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Despite his age he was obviously going hard, which deserves a tribute song by Motörhead. Something like "Bang 'Till You Bleed".
pulinap Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Head-banging was originally introduced by the heavy blues rockers Mountain (contested claim)....... Mississippi Queen will even make the nodding on your dashboard go handbagging......
Soundscape Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 (edited) I went to a metal gig a few weeks ago. Spent most of it in the pit, thrashing around like a spastic. Had myself a BALL. Even did a stagedive in the encore. Many happy adrenaline fueled memories. I had to visit my masseuse and then the osteo to aid my recovery. And yes, I would not hesitate to do it again. You only live once, and I'm here for a good time, not a long time Edited July 5, 2014 by rehabitat 2

Soundscape Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 He didn't go that hard... Haha! I think I nearly killed the guy I landed on..... Yep, twas Coroner, the greatest metal band that very few people havehave ever heard of. One of the best shows I have ever been to. Snatched a recording of it too, with the help of a good friend who held the recorder while I partied. 2
