whats your best old movie

Recommended Posts

Manchurian Candidate. Cold War spy drama starring Frank Sinatra. Thrilling stuff.

Edit, also starring Angela Lansbury; such an evil, calculating character.

If you like the movie, I recommend you the book by Henri Charrière, it's available in english. I've got a very good memory of it.

Scarface :)

A good movie but not for the faint hearted. There was a particular bathroom scene ... well I've been trying to erase it from my memory  :(

Agree with yardley about The Magnificent Seven.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.  (Or one of the others in the trilogy.)

Once Upon A Time in the West.

The Great Escape.

Dirty Harry.

Rear Window.

Bullitt.

The Italian Job (the original obviously...).

Danger Diabolik.
