Demondes Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 (edited) FS: Zu Omen Bookshelf speakers Location: Melbourne Price: $800 $750Item Condition: Used with some veneer marks on one of the speakers side and Back only (refer photos). The fronts of the speaker boxes are clean from marks, and speaker cones are in good condition.Reason for selling: These were an interim speaker after moving from Sydney. I have now have purchased the Spendors advertised on stereonet.Payment Method: Cash, Paypal, or Direct DepositExtra Info: I have photographed to show the cosmetic veneer damage on the side edge and back corner of one speaker. The photo shows this to look worse than it is, but I would rather point this out so as not to waste peoples time. These speakers have had a couple of Stereonet users, I believe they are originally John Darko's review pair. I have had these since late 2012. No boxes included prefer Melbourne pickup to avoid shipping. Edited July 1, 2014 by Demondes
huxmut Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I wish you were in Brisbane, my bank balance is happier tho... Beautiful speakers mate. Can't imagine these hanging around...
mwml15 Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Good luck on the sale. It great looking speaker and look much better real life than on the picture. Gone with Spendors which definitely sound good with your setup.
Demondes Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 Yep these sound great with luxman amp, but when I heard the spendors with my amp the sound stage was another notch or 2 higher again. Yep the Matt black finish does look better than my photos give justice. Zu have a sort of utilitarian style rather than the attractiveness of say sonus faber.
pete_mac Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Geez, if only these suckers were in Sydney!! A cracking price.
SteveC Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 They were in Sydney originally. Bring em back home Pete.
huxmut Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Cant believe the VICS are not all over these  45x30x30cm and 16kg of full range awesome
