Guest Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Found this in the shed when cleaning up. No idea if it's worth anything. Probably not. Posted free if anyone's interested. Needle is missing. Text on cartridge: Jelco MC-14 Ikichawa Jewel co ltd Japan. The box and screwdriver might be of interest for novelty or display purposes?

Guest Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 (edited) Is that good? And thanks for posting the info by the way. Edited June 6, 2014 by Dirty_vinylpusher
Monkeyboi Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Is that good? And thanks for posting the info by the way. Entry level cartridge. Conical stylus tips are generally a bit forgiving when it comes to records with a less than spectacular playing surface as they tend to hide the surface noise (but not always). Frequency response to 27kHz may be a bit optimistic for a cartridge with a conical stylus but not impossible. Replacement styli are still available for this cartridge from http://www.turntableneedles.com for about US$12. Cheers, Alan
