I do dearly miss that car and am nostalgic when I see one of the few left driving on the road. It certainly s$@$$ all over the VW golf I drive nowadays both in reliability and smile factor. 3

Great cars! I owned a red N14 and a black N14 SSS, both with the SR20. I miss the SSS to this day - it was mint and tastefully enhanced. 1

Seems a common sign with former owners of these cars missing them dearly. A sign of a great car. Someone buy this car already they were made to be driven.

That was my 1st car!!! Huge Fun! But, No ABS then, unlike the SSS, and I proceeded to wrap mine around a tree after 18 months of crazy fun...
943 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 (edited) My first "real" car was an N14 1992 model SSS. It was back when air con was an optional extra which I didn't have the budget for at the time. Can't believe I drove around Brisbane for 7 years with no A/C! When my earning capacity increased I finally put air into the car - ahhh, bliss!! Eventually sold it after 12 years.
