Well, nothing overly exciting, but picked up this Logitech speaker setup for $50 through our local buy/swap/sell site.

Only a few months old they reckon and had to sell due to moving house and not enough room blah blah.

I see them advertised online from $80-150.

Will be a good step up from the current 2.1 computer speakers which are starting to crackle a bit.

Just gave them a quick test with my phone and the bass is really quite impressive.

All the cables came with extra extensions as well.

Gonna take a bit of re-organising and cable running to get them all set up.

Better go get a case of beer before I start.

:)

I had a set of these not to put the mockers on it but they had an annoying buzz which got the better of me I hope yours is a good one.

Will be OK for watching YouTube vids etc.

I have the computer running through the mixer and 2xamps and 8xspeakers in that room for more serious music listening ;)

The old setup is crackling and left speaker keeps cutting out.

I was thinking of getting something new just the other day when my darling partner called me in to the room asking if I thought this would be a good buy.

Gotta love that.

Picked them up on my way home today from the seller's workplace, which saved me a trip to the shopping centre and at least $30.

Plus I got some spare cables.

Win win.

My ears are too damaged from hours and hours both on the decks and in clubs to notice slight buzzing noises haha.

The volume control doesn't seem to do much between about 3/4 and just before max, I noticed.
