dreamz
I have an emotiva amp, the fuse has been blown recently, I tried with a new fuse but blown straight away, so its something else, I can see the back of the rca plugs were a little burned as well. Dont know where to fix this, any places in melbourne, especially in the north side, as I live in Epping, Vic Thanks
rocky500
The warranty is 5 years and is transferable to all the next owners. Can you get in contact with the person you brought it from? They just have to send an email to Emotiva informing them who they sold the amp to and the warranty moves to the next person and so on. Could it be a slow blow fuse is the right one and you may be using a fast blow? Which amp do you have? Edited April 1, 2014 by rocky500

All the fuses are slow blow. The ones I tried to replace with they were slow blow as well. but as soon as i turned on the amp the fuses blown. I know the warranty is 5years, its been transferred to my name., what emotiva customer service said is take it to an audio shop and find out what the issue is, there warranty only covers the parts for overseas purchases, so they can send out the parts and I need to pay for the labor, which is a bad experience to me, anyway its been sitting their for 2 months now, I need to fix it. I think its very tough with warranties when buying gear from overseas manufacturers but think Emotiva is great in the way they do theres. For products costing less than a $1000 makes it not wothwhile trying to freight them back especially something like an amp. Having them ship out parts for free, once the problem is known (even when you are not the person who brought from them in the first place) is excellent by me. I just had a whole amp module (Massive heatsink connected) sent to me for free for an Integrated amp of theres. I was able to fit it myself, which helps. Yeah, the only downside is I need to take it to a local repairer and pay for the labor, last time i repair a projector labor was $300 and parts were $60, here most of the time labor cost more than the parts.
