Is it true that as a result of concerns regarding the "emotive validity" of a recent WTB ad, rumored to be posted by an alias of one of the four seasons, that SNA will introduce financial disclosure regulations?

Posted

What on earth do you mean?  The term 'financial disclosure' usually relates to the disclosure of pecuniary interests in a matter that may lead to a conflict of interest or unfair financial advantage.  The current controversy involving Arthur Sinodinos might be a good example.

I'm afraid you'll have to be more explicit about this - and if you are be careful what you say.

The only requirement I can think of that that SNA can impose is to require sellers (or buyers) to state whether they are acting commercially (even as a 'hobby businesses').  Is that what you mean?

I have no idea what you are on about, and not the time to try and decipher the cryptic clues.

If you want to know something about the site, either come out with it, or ask me directly please.

Typical djb thread - gets legs and grows into a monster of multiple tangents with sly innuendo de rigueur!  :P

I wouldn't worry. It's just a wind up anyway and the clue about the seasonal name alias is as obvious as an elephant in a phone box.

Probably had too much red cordial with a few too many blue pills.

Aussie equivalent (suburb) Pakenham Upper! :D

That's better than "Maroota". No, it's not a cryptic crossword clue, but a suburb of Sydney.

Oh Schit, we've derailed this thread Evil C ;)

If ever a thread was plum for derailing it would be this one.

We might end up getting a few laughs instead of a headache :)

I would have thought for this thread to be derailed, that would imply it was actually going somewhere in the first place. :-P.
