PureWicked.au
WOW! why have these not sold, I'd almost be tempted to get rid of my Paradigm Studio 20's and CC490 in preference for these for my surround setup, I have a pair of the Joey's already, sadly I prefer a darker colour though.. muzzagruzz
Yes, I wonder why they haven't sold yet too? This is probably the fourth time I've relisted these beauties and it might be the last. I might convert two of them into jarrah boxes and keep them as a stereo pair. We'll see what happens. PureWicked.au
I used to work (until recently) at the Hi FI Trader, we loved the Legend's there, JJ Cabinet's (who make them in Sydney to Dr Crawford's design/spec) should be able to refinish them easily, I've seen you list them a few times now, is there anything you'd be interested in swapping them for? just asking just in case... or if they really don't sell again let me know, maybe I will indeed look at flogging my Paradigm's off.. I too would want Jarra to match my Joey's or even Walnut to match my Spendor SP2/3r2's that currently have the Paradigm's on top of them (cramped inner west duplex) on another note if your a fan of shrill ear piercingly American type sound they finally stock Klipsch speakers... take your favourite CD and hear it in ways you never expected to..... muzzagruzz
I know JJ Cabinets very well, having visited them many times to purchase Dr Crawford's Legend speakers that he had listed on his website. I bought the Kantu 6's, Kurka 6 and Kurlo 6 from the website and picked them up from JJ's. Dr Crawford and John are really helpful. I've had the quote from JJ's to convert them - it's not bad and I may end up doing it. Purchased my Kurre 7's from HiFi Trader - spent a bloody fortune there over the years. Never been a fan of American speakers - I believe in supporting Australian speaker manufactures as they are every bit as good as imported product. And better in many respects!
PureWicked.au
also not a fan of American speakers either, the Paradigm's are fun for home theatre but we fought tooth and nail to not stock Klipsch, the battle is over now though :-D
