Is there any logical explanation why this stuff should work?

http://www.acoustic-revive.com/english/rr77/rr77_01.html

For Listening room

Also, by generating the Schumann Resonance, there is an effect that it neutralizes harmful standing waves. And it has the feature of improving the viscosity of the air in the listening room. Therefore, you can reproduce the excellent music, the sound is improved clearly audible, and the depth of the sound image is increased dramatically.

We had one of those at the recent dac gtg. There was about 50-50 those who heard a.change in sound. I was one who heard no difference.

At THE recent DAC gtg?

How come no one mentioned it? Was it tested blind as well?

No, it wasn't done blind. A real pity as this is one instance where its easy to do a blind test. Perhaps someone else who owns one can organize it.

Do you think that little box has an antenna 9500km long?

That is what is required to efficiently radiate energy at that frequency

You are proving to be very useful on these controversial subjects. Keep up the good work.

Quote from that wiki link.  Doesn't this sound like Bybee's CV?  US Navy?  1970's?  Comms?  Limited?  Submarines?  Is there enough evidence of a really good conspiracy theory here?

Project Sanguine was a U.S. Navy project, proposed in 1968 and only implemented in a more limited form, to create a hardened extremely low frequency (ELF) radio transmitter facility in Wisconsin to communicate with deeply submerged submarines

I don't think it radiates EMF I think it does sound waves.

The Schumann thing is electromagnetic so that makes me question the whole thing even more.

Unless you have the correct size room, there is nothing special about a 7.83Hz acoustic tone.

It doesn't look much like a subwoofer either

FWIW there's already a thread about the product here

Request to merge the two threads?

They should publish independent test data proving their claims - very sceptical about any product claiming to remove standing wave issues. Not qualified / knowledgeable enough to comment on other claims

I have only just noticed this thread.  I was the person who brought the Acoustic Revive RR777 to the GTG mainly for Mike to listen too.  It was not tried when every one was listening attentively.  There were people who did not notice the change when it was on.  My understanding was that some people including Mike did hear the change for the better. Maybe in some situations it will not work for some people.  I can assure the doubters that in my situation it works without any question. Why it works for me I don't know.  Everyone I have tried it with in my house including people who do not listen to music could all hear the benefit.  In some cases I have turned on and  off when they did even not know what I was trying.  For me it money very well spent.  I recommend people have a sale or return trial.
