Yeah, gave these a trial run in the kitchen as the second system but the Handbrake didn't like the colour, said it clashed so they went back. Sounded fantastic too with the ipod and it's mp3's. :(

Did you use Bluetooth streaming @@Luc? That might be why. Try a high quality, directional 3.mm stereo lead, direct. They should sound much better in the kitchen then :)

Hello? Audio Connection? Yeah it's me again, nah, I'm still in one piece and thxs for yer concern can you send them back please? Try putting flowers in the horns, that should get you past her and the front door, cheers.

Oh and plaster them with Bose stickers, that'll work for sure.

I can see the DIY brigade saying, no problems we can knock up a version in a few weeks. Subs from Red Spade design, horns from wherever and plasma tweeters well there's a few hanging around on Audiogon or EBay. ClassD for subs and a modded Chinese low watter for the mains - EASY. LoL. ;)

I was fortunate to hear those speakers when they were at LWA in Lane Cove, and mere words cannot describe.

Unfortunately, Len reduced his store size by 50% and no longer had a room to demo them.  He was taking offers for a while, so it would have been possible to negotiate a bargain price, for those with the physical space - and a spare $250k.

They were at murali's audio senses, then hifi junction at bondi then stanmore, len's at lane cove and now a c at Leichardt. They will end up in Hobart at this rate.

I'll stick with my illusory Focal Grande Utopias then.

Edit: Actually that made think; What happens to items like these esoterica in extremeis that do the rounds of shows and shop floors and just never sell.

Do they eventually go for cheap or are they pulled to bits and broken up or does someone come in and offer 50K for them ten years down the track(or 5K)?

Why would you bother :-) , better exucuted options out there ;-) if you have to modify a Chinese tube amp then it belongs on the heap .

Cheers
