Looking at their line up of amps and they tick a lot of boxes. Is anyone using one and what are your thoughts?

Oops sorry meant Peachtree.

I've just bought the Nova125 2nd hand and I'm not sure it's a good match for my system/tastes. A bit too laid back. Don't get me wrong, it's very nice but I prefer a more detailed sound. I could be convinced to move it on if you are after a warmer sound.

Yeah that's the thing the peach tree stuff in my opinion going for a bit of old school valve sound ... Which don't get me wrong some like and want but might push things over the edge for others.

Blybo have you seen the sony hap-s1 it is now available in aus. On the sony website is a swish looking built in amp Dac and media player. See the sony hires thread if interested. Am keen getting one for my bed room setup :)

The Peachtree stuff certainly looks really cool though. Just not a good match for my speakers and room. My Whatmough speakers are pretty warm, that's why I recommend them for my parents overly bright room.

Yeah did notice that Sony. I'd have to sell the Peachtree as well as a Cambridge 640 amp and CD combo first though... And Ideally I really want an integrated amp with A & B speaker outputs. I bought a speaker switch to use in conjunction with the Peachtree but haven't set it up yet.

Nice amp for sure but I don't like the NAD aesthetic. Sort of hoping to find an Arcam FMJ series, it's only the A18 that doesn't have dual outputs. Anyhoo, have to move some things on first. I'm warming (no pun intended) to the Peachtree and my Sonos certainly sounds better through it's built in DAC.

Ok, will keep eyes peeled for bargain Arcam for you :)

Interesting comments in the peachtree "warm" sound. I take it they artificially dialed in what people assume valves sound like.

Might try and get an audition, the grand gets pretty good write ups.

They certainly have a unique style about them.

I have an Peachtree iDecco that I connect as an amp to my CD player. While it is not a standalone amp, I concur with the description of the Peachtree house sound above. It is laid back and smooth, but only slightly on the warm side according to mine. It is not super resolving as I am sure a lot of detail is missing/inaudible; but it is quite musical, i.e. the detail you need to enjoy the music is there. I think with Peachtree amps matching them with the right speakers is very important.
