Interesting Dipole Design - Thoughts?

G'day all,

 

In my quest to find a suitable surround speaker, I stumbled across this:

As per the old thread, lets just assume a "di-pole" rear is a good idea.

 

What do you think about the waveguide?

 

I will have some AE TD8's to use with these, I thought perhaps I could couple with one of the Mundorf Dipole AMT's

 

Thoughts?
