alcarp Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 I've just installed a PSU made by our very own AJ for the SBT instead of the stock SMPS that comes with the SBT. I expected some improvement to SQ based on reports of people's experience with this and the Teddy Pardo. The improvement in SQ was quite spectacular - everything improved - clarity, detail, resolution, imaging & sound stage. Delighted with its performance. Exceeded my expectations !!! The unit has an additional USB port so that I can power the Audiophilleo 2 instead of the ALDI battery that I was using. Its an improvement over the ALDI battery - no doubt about it. Thanks AJ for a great product. 3

alcarp Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 Hi, is there a thread detailing AJs "products" price/contact details? Don't think there is a thread. Just pm him.
Davey Willo Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 When I started reading this I had to check the poster name as I thought is was an old post of mine, I must of wrote something nearly identical when I also replaced the SBT standard supply with one of AJ's. It was probably the best improvement per buck that I've ever spent on this addiction. Highly recommended to all SBT users if AJ is still making them, if not then a Teddy Pardo PSU would be the go
