alittlewino Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) Item: Getzen 3062AF Professional Custom Series Bass Trombone Location: Brisbane Price: $4900 negotiable - at current Aussie $ replacement is over $8000 so save a bundle for as new. Item Condition: As new Reason for selling: Teenage Daughter has given up playing Payment Method: Bank Tfr Only Extra Info: Description from manufacturer below. A revered US brand enjoyed by serious amateurs and pros alike as recommended by music teachers for Grade 6 through to pro. Used but as new as daughter played for Qld Youth Orchestra (QYO3) for 1 season. Barely used for 1 year (and I do mean barely) and then sat in it's case. A beautiful instrument which we purchased as a "for life" instrument, but kids being kids she has given it up to our real disappointment as she is quite talented. Comes with everything it came with and I have custom made a special Allen key for those hard to reach adjustments to avoid having to dismantle the instrument. Have original packaging so can post but buyer to arrange and pay for courier. Pleased for local inspection and audition for anybody that is serious but no time wasters please or silly offers as it is not that type of instrument. Can take more/close-up pikkies for anybody keen.Getzen 3062AF Custom Series Bass Trombone The Getzen 3062AF Custom Series Bass Trombone offers amazing power and performance to the pro player. Ancientflatulence Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Eeeeeek, my pudding has been hijacked!!!!!!!
alittlewino Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 Ok AF - I'll state my claim for rightful ownership as I have the original book in mint condition from childhood - can you top that
legselevens Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Nooo! Tell her not to give it up. I played trombie in school and a youth orchestra but stopped when I left school. In my 40's now and I regret it to this day. It'sa a fantastic instrument and used in so many great styles of music. It's even considered cool believe it or not.
Ancientflatulence Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I can match but not beat it. My sister has our copy which is in less than mint condition from being read and reread and reread ........ etc. On closer inspection your pudding looks like a shorter, fatter cousin to mine!!!
Bleek Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I had to check I was on the right forum, worlds colliding! Nice trombone. I would love this for some of my doubling work. But unfortunately the amount of bass bone playing I do doesn't justify such a nice instrument! Good luck with the sale. Ebay is probably your best bet.
alittlewino Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 update - she has now decided to play in the community band that her high school teacher conducts, as does my eldest oboe playing daughter - sponsored by Brisbane City Council finally some focus and hopefully this will keep her hand in for the long term - but there's no certainty this ad won't be back up in 2 weeks time!
