* Reason for selling  The Metrum Min NOS DAC is known for it's smooth non-edgy sound.

My listening room is carpeted with book shelves on both walls with soft furniture.

A EL34 SET tube amp drives my single driver full rangers. I think I might need a slightly edgy DAC.

I am interested in this but have to sell some other stuff... so broke right now. But I have been waiting for this dac to come up second hand for a while

Also using a SET amp and full range speakers but I understood that a NOS dac is ideal for this set up (can't remember where I read this)

what do you mean by "edgy"

The metrum is a stellar dac and does its best work with an asynchronous signal like what an audiophilleo, synchromesh, hiface etc can deliver.

I'd be tempted by this, but I have a suspicion that it does not have a USB input - would I be right? If I am wrong, how about a swap for a Teddy Pardo DAC?

you're right it doesn't that's why you will also want a decent DI
