AKM new release - finally a AK4497 replacement DAC chip

At last AKM have started production of a new AK4497 DAC chip called the AK4497SVQ

This was always my all time favourite AKM DAC chip (used in Gross DAC) but production stopped after the AKM factory 

fire in 2020.

It should be available in June this year.

I will be implementing it in a brand new DAC shortly.

I will probably do two versions.

A basic no-frills version using the DAC chip in hardware mode only.

Also a top spec unit running the chip in software mode.

The top spec version will have similar features to the Gross/Fein DAC series.

eg remote variable output, PCM & DSD, remote adjustable filters etc etc.
