ITEM: Musical Fidelity CDT CD Player

DESCRIPTION: A top-loading CD player first released in 1993, somewhat uniquely with a class-A single ended triod output stage, based on a pair of ECC88′s valves. Amazing sound quality.

CONDITION: 5/10. I bought this in the late 90s from Trevor Lees (for around $1000) and used it non-stop until I went all-digital in 2010. It still works nicely, except the catch on the lid no longer functions, so you either have to repair the snib, or weight the top down with a heavy item (I used a small beanbag). Otherwise, the usual scuffs and marks from frequent use and a few house moves. Nothing serious.

REVIEW: Can't find a lot about these on-line, although here's a short piece about them, and here's another.

REASON for SELLING: Don't play CDs anymore, so this is gathering dust.

PRICE: $100

LOCATION: Melbourne (Fitzroy)

POSTAGE: Strongly prefer local pickup

PAYMENT: Paypal or bank transfer

Have to be quick around here!

I would have taken it too, as this is the sort of player I am looking for.

Cheers,
Cameron.

Dan! Don't you have enough CDPs? :P

How many is enough again? Was just too curious!

And they don't take up as much room as turntables

Thanks Andrew
