eyeswideopen Posted April 2 Posted April 2 HI, I have a JVC DLA-NP5 and a pair of 3D glasses which are JVC PK-AG3 and the emitter is a JVC PK-EM2 emitter. They work okay but I would like to buy another couple of sets of glasses so more people can watch a 3D movie, but these JVC ones are so expensive. And there are a couple of younger grandkids I worry might damage these expensive ones. I dont know much about the ins and outs of what is compatible with this projector and pairing with this emitter. Does anyone know of what other brands of 3D glasses that will work with my projector that are good and are value for money? I don't want to buy cheap, cheap, if they are poor quality, but the JVC at $230 is a bit rich, and they do fit a bit tight ( I know I can heat bend them a little) Also what are considered the best quality ones for this projector? I wouldnt mind paying more for one very good pair and look after them. Finally I wonder about the charging. The story goes that lithion ion polymer batteries should be kept a bit over half charge but how do you know what charge the JVC ones are until they are full. Do I use them and charge them and put them away until next time, maybe a few months before they get used again. Can the battteries be replaced in them, it doesnt appear they can and maybe they have a short one or two year life, I dont know? Some brands of glasses I see take a replaceable battery, this sounds goood but again are they any good and compatible? Can anyone with experience with these offer me any advice please. Thanks in advance. Barrie
