gefot Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Advise if anyone has heard both, I have the dali epicon 6s, needing a centre speaker. Do I go for a used epicon vocal at approx $1000 more than a new Rubicore centre. From what I understand the new Rubicore range is close to the discontinued Epicon series, I'm after one that's going to give me a bigger sound stage, I'm coming from Klipsch which had 4 x 6.5 inch woofers . Amplification power is not a problem, can run direct of anthem 1140 avr,1 channel at 140w , or anthem 225w power amp or even bi amp 2 x 225w
cafe67 Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Usual consensus is to match the centre as close as possible to to the front mains - I don’t think you d go wrong with either the epicon or rubicon - new rubicon seems to be getting good reviews
