Mission 778x speaker pairing

Featured Replies

I've just had a mission 778x and a technics sl 1500c  , I'm running them at the moment with Cambridge audio sx50 speakers but I'm looking to upgrade them could anyone assist with recommendation for bookshelf size speakers

So many variables and i doubt you will get a solid recommendation from this post, just people’s opinions.

My recommendation would be to go to a store that sells your amp and get their advice in the budget range you have, and then listen to them. Keep listening until you hear a combo you like.

Agreed.

With the Mission amp being small and transportable, I'd also consider taking it with you to dealers to try on their speakers. Work through a shortlist and then see if you can home trial the top contender to make extra sure.
