Project 3388 KOSA exemplifies this approach, transforming a standard room into a carefully engineered Hi-Fi listening space with Artnovion’s absorbers, diffusers, and bass traps. To further refine low-frequency performance, we also conducted acoustic tests using four PSI AVAA C214 active bass traps, measuring their impact on the room’s frequency response and reverberation time. This article details the design, installation process, and acoustic improvements achieved in this project, including before-and-after measurement data. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the AVAA C214 units in achieving tighter bass, improved definition, and an overall more refined acoustic environment.
