App connection to older streamers

Hi, i am looking at purchasing a used naim nd5xs streamer.

 

I just downloaded the naim app and only the nd5xs2 appears in the initial list of equipment to connect.

 

Does anyone have any knowledge of compatibility between new app and nd5xs?
