Looking for a repair to my Goldring  MC cart.

ML/boron or what?

Absolutely. ML / boron will be hard to top.

Don't understand why you would not send it back to Goldring, they are one of the best cartridge rebuilders in the UK. They do OEM work for other high end folk who shall not be named.

Same reason I wouldn't take a Ferrari to a McLaren workshop, despite the McLaren guys probably being excellent mechanics.

I tried to get my Goldring 900 IGC retipped by them. They couldn't find it in their database. Send it over and we will inspect to see if....

Wtf. Smelled a bit like a UK version of the modern 'Garrott Bros' to me.

Send it up to Chris, I’m sure he can retip it for you. If not it’s quicker and cheaper than sending it to the UK.

Chris did a fantastic job on my Ortofon MC. Came back with a boron cantilever with nude micro ridge stylus. Sounded better than original and was quite an upgrade.
