Amber Series 70 power amplifiers still worth buying in 2024?

I'm considering a pair of Amber Series 70 power amps, Oz made for about $1200 and don't know much about the brand.

 

I would like to get opinions on the amps if they are still worth bying in 2024 or better off looking for something else?

 

I can't afford to much more and prefer to spend less if possible.

 

I hoping they would match well with my ME 25 preamp and Duntech PCL 25 speakers?

 

Do they run hot and need a long warming up stage?

 

I am still considering ME power amps just looking at alternatives and options.

Do you have any idea how old the amps are and if they’ve been serviced?

I did ask the seller who has owned the amps for the past 3 years or so and has no history of service and thinks the amps are from early eighties.

But I think Australia took over the company in the late eighties.
