Simon900 Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Hi Guys, I'm looking at updating my older Emotive XDA-2 DAC to something with a bit more bass punch and open sound stage, at around the $1500 mark. At this stage I'm considering a Topping D90 III Sabre & SMSL Audio VMV D2R I would really like to demo it first to get an idea of it's performance, and I know some of the guys at Addicted to Audio, who might be able to let me try these 2 out. Any experience with either of these or an alternative would be great.

If it's not for you, then easy to sell and recoup your money. I suspect you will keep it. Good luck 2
