Hello everyone ! Hope you are doing good, thank you for taking some time to help me with my little problem.

I have bought a while ago an amplifier (Aiyima B07) which is mainly a 2.1 channel amplifier that I use to power up my passive speakers (some Klipsch R-41M), and I will soon be getting a new active subwoofer from a friend (Klipsch R-141SW) that has only 2 input RCAs.
The deal is that I don't know how to be able to use them ? What do I need exactly to do to be able to link them !
The amplifier has this kind of inputs/outputs :

And the actual active subwoofer has this :

Any help would be appreciated !

Take the aux out from the amp and plug it into the two RCAs in the sub.  You'll need a cable with the appropriate 3.5mm stereo to two RCA plugs.

Using the aux out from the amp, I won't be able to use the knobs dedicated for the sub ?
Isn't there a way to use that banana plugs output dedicated for the sub ? Any type of converter or a device I can get to be able to do so ?

Thank you for the reply !

The amp's built in sub channel only appears to be available as a speaker output.  You might be able to cobble together some 8 ohm loading resistors and with a divider, and get a signal near the level you need for the sub, but that's messy.

Does the amp have a headphone out?  That would work and be controlled by the volume at least.

Those are the only inputs / outputs it has. For cobbling together resistors and dividers, I'm not that great at electronics, but if it's something I can buy, I might be able to get it.
Mainly, I had the Fosi BT20A Pro, but it lacked subwoofer settings, and was way too hot, so I upgraded to this amp.

If you use the aux out from the amp, you can match the sub level to the music using the gain control on the subwoofer of course, but it you'll have to do it each time you change your listening level.  In reality I often tweak a sub level according to the style and mix of the music anyway, so no that different really.  Just awkward that it's behind the sub.

I searched around and the do sell devices to do the speaker to line level conversion.  Seems they are used commonly in cars.  Search for "speaker level to line level converter" on Amazon

@aussievintage Nice help for the OP 😎😎😎

It's my first time having this kind of setup, but once I finish it, it will definitely look amazing.

Hope this works as planned 🥹

Fitted one of these to a sub in my car on the weekend and it works well.

Make sure you have the passive style and not the 12v powered type.

I usgot that converter with one channel and another one with 2 channels, but both had distortion and were too hot running, can't handle it as it might start a fire someday.

But here's the setup before the upgrade :20241201_103509.thumb.jpg.23e9a12c5856131f19ef16fa501f3fa8.jpg

I got a new A/V receiver but since it didn't have some addons (mainly Dolby Atmos and Spotify/Tidal), I went with the Denon X1700H, will get it soon.

As I can say, it is working but not optimal. Thank you everyone !
