Sean Perth Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Hi just wondering if it’s possible to connect 1 REL S/510 to a Primaluna Evo 400 preamp otherwise I need to go down the route of buying 2 as I’m running musical fidelity M8 monos cheers Sean
buddyev Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 I have evo 300 - two monos and 2 svs subs. One rca pair - split one to each mono the other rca pair to single sub/or split between 2 subs.
doogie44 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 You can run a stereo signal (RCA) from the tape out on the EVO preamp to the low level inputs of the REL. I note that REL does NOT advise a single sub be connected to monoblocks. Sounds like you're aware of this. But, a double REL S/510 arrangement with high level connection must be the very best answer!!

Yes def the best answer but also a whopping price tag LOL, my intention is to save purchase one, then save purchase another, unless i can find a WA pair

You could run the speaker level connection from one of the monoblocks to the Rel if you really wanted to use the high level input on the Rel, as there's very little stereo information in the operating frequencies of the sub... ...but I would just go with @doogie44's recommendation.
