VJC Posted November 3 Posted November 3 (edited) Hi Guys, Good day, can anyone please help me with the sound signature of the Dali Speakers in general. I am thinking to buy a Dali bookshelf speakers. Concept 2 $190 , Concept 1 $75 in market place. I am after a warm / neutral sounding speakers. Usually Danish HI FI sounds good? Thank you Edited November 3 by VJC
Satanica Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I don't know if this applies to these particular models, but I do know that for a while Dali has designed speakers to be listened to angled straight with no toe in, with the latter having an almost definite outcome of making them sound bright. You will find this information in the product manuals.

As per can be found in Dali's manuals for some of their products, at least some of their speakers are designed to be pointed straight into the room, not pointed directly at the main central listening position. That implies, that if one does point them directly at the main central listening position, then higher frequencies will be more than flat. You might overall like that, you might overall not.

Ymmv More than flat higher frequencies are not subjective, if shown by electronic measurement. Depending on your hearing and your reference, you might not perceive the above scenario as bright.
