illbarto Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Gee that's sad news. There was a time there in the late ninties early two thousands where he had a huge impact on my musical taste, that Shaolin Wooden Men stuff and the psy-harmonics label... crikey I saw him play almost weekly
rantan Posted October 16 Posted October 16 I was not familiar with his works but it is always sad to see a popular musician pass away, especially at a relatively young age. R.I.P
metal beat Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Very sad. An Aussie icon as far as electronic music goes.
grammefriday Posted October 20 Posted October 20 The best work Michael Hutchene ever did was with Ollie. The following was a piece in The Guardian on Wednesday www.theguardian.com/music/2024/oct/17/ian-ollie-olsen-death-age-66-australian-musician?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
