Has anyone ever bought a tele from Aldi?  If so how was it?

Aldi has some damn good pricing on their specials and I’m just curious if i should fork out for a 4K screen from them or not…..   e.g. the latest special was a 75” for $799 AUD!

so are they ok or not?

i have this saying about Aldi,  buy there groceries, but give everything else a miss unless you are prepared to bin it after the warranty period or its a stop gap to waiting for something spectacular to hit the market.  There is a reason its cheap and there are reason they have these specials that are too good to be true where people are fighting for it in the store....as far as im concern, its all yours if you want it......😉

You get better value by buying a cheaper Chinese brand from JB Hifi or Good guys.     TCL and Hisense are the usual choices, and I think TCL edges out Hisense - mostly by using Google TV.   I gave my father a Hisense 55" mini-LED 4K and I have a TCL 75" mini-LED 4K.  Both are great.

Father-in-law bought a Bauhn TV from Aldi. Didn't last 12 months, warranty is a repair not replacement so he ended up binning it and getting a JBHifi LG.
