rantan Posted September 29 Posted September 29 So very sad. A great and gifted singer songwriter who will be missed greatly. Truly one-of-a-kind and a great loss to music. RIP Kris and thanks for the songs.
Mr 57 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Another huge contributor to the “genuine” music industry. So sad to read about our listening time legends passing away. RIP Kris

Reading this thread this morning I realised a great is no more. Yesterday I streamed for 2 hours. Everything was Kris Kristofferson either him performing or others doing his compositions. At the time I wondered how much longer will he be with us. I didn't know. A special composer and performer plus everything else he achieved in his likfe. Just wonderful words and melodies. John 5
zenikoy Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Vale Captain Kristoffersen, safe landing your helicopter on Johnny Cash's cloud. Even without the music career part, what a man and life! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kris_Kristofferson 3
cheekyboy Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Very sad news indeed..............a true legend of country music. RIP.

Wow! In 1958, Kristofferson was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to the University of Oxford,[9]studying at Merton College.[10] While at Oxford, he was awarded a Blue for boxing,[10]played rugby for his college, and began writing songs That’s impressive 3

I would be very surprised if you didn't like them, Edited September 30 by rantan 1
