cafe67 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Or perhaps previously owned or heard ? If so curious as you your thoughts Cheers Dave
wadiman Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Dave - I've had Dali Euphonia MS4s for a decade or more - the Epicon 6s are the replacement for these. I auditoned them nbot long after their release at Audio Connections. To my ears they sounded a little better than my MS4s but had a very similar sonic signature - big soundstage, dynamic and great bass among other things. I didn't think they were worth the asking price though - very$ at circa $20k. 1

cafe67 Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 (edited) Well to answer my question , I bought a pair , stayed tuned initial thoughts , good bass - seems deep and tight , but being rear ported had to pull them out from the wall behind and toeing them in also helped with bass and also the overall sound. Very nice top end, although early listening ,not found it to be bright with music played so far. seems plenty detail. build quality is pretty tidy. quite a different sound to the Marten Parker’s Edited October 29 by cafe67 2
wadiman Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Nice work Cafe! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts as they settle in. What are you driving them with - can’t quite make it out. 1
