Melb. Hifi Show dinner 6.30pm Saturday 12th October 2024

As now only 16 days until the Melbourne Hi fi show, it would be fantastic to have a relatively informal dinner at The Belgian Beer Cafe at Southbank.

I have held two previous Hi fi show dinners there in the past, and they have been excellent food, drink and memories wise!

In fact they were an absolute blast!!! 

Obviously I will need some sort of idea on numbers keen to come, so I can book table(s).

Not much time left, so please let me know within the next week  - I have several prominent members coming so far.

Please either comment on this thread that you're keen to come, or shoot me a PM !

I'm torn. Haven't bought tickets yet. I have my biggest show of the year as an exhibitor the weekend before hand. I might be excited to go... or shattered and in need of a rest.

You don't have to go to the show, just the dinner will do !

I'll be working 13 straight days up until the dinner, and most of them will be long. As all the HiFi exhibitors will tell you, shows are exhausting. We will have a 3 day bump in, 2 day bump out on top of the 4 day show. Thank god it's the last one for the year I'm scheduled to work.

 

I'll probably have to go to the HiFi show on the Sunday, if at all. Book me in for the dinner but..... I've given up drinking

Thanks for arranging this dinner Clive. I wouldn't mind attending for a couple of beers, nibbles & banter, as I plan to have an early one as i'm attending the show on Sunday. Cheers.

Would of been there Clive, but alias I'm working Saturday nightshift, will be at the show during the day on Saturday before work, so if your there will probably see each other around at the show... Enjoy the Dinner I'm sure it will be a blast...have a few for me  & then some more.

I’ve been every year to this event and it’s been a fantastic evening.  I’m not quite committed to the show this year. But I’d like to attend if I come over. Clive, I’ll let you know asap.

I've booked a table at the Belgian Beer Cafe and have PM'd everyone who has expressed interest in coming.

Still waiting on a few to confirm,  and as now only 8 days until the dinner- need to know in the next few days. 

So now is the time to put your hand up, if you want to come along.
