Afternoon,

Tinkering has got the better of me and looking at a speaker cable change, unsure what have positive user recommendations and advice sought on options.

Currently have 4 x 2.5m runs of bi wired van den hul d352 hybrid. Looking to move those to a good home and simplify to 1.5m custom runs if I can, with jumpers. Budget under $600.

Setup is a rotel ra-1572 amp, dmp-a8 streamer dac, and monitor audio silver 300 towers, streaming dance, pop genres mostly.

Nothing I am trying to address, quite like the current sound (finally) which is detailed and analytical without being too fatiguing - which has been an issue in the past. A tad more fullness and weight low down maintainly clarity and detail would be a bonus.

A change may work or not, part of the fun 😀

Audio principe look within budget and some tellerium a black II in the classified piqued initial interest

Aurealis spiral 8 would be a great match it does all the things you are after.

Thank you for the reply - they do look lovely, will make some enquiries and see if the budget stretches.

That’s good to know thanks, when they popped up in classifieds that prompted my interest actually, next time maybe 💁‍♂️ what bookshelf speakers for reference @grammefriday

I ended up trying Audioprincipe bi wire cables as a half affordable highly recommended option, they are noticeably more detailed and sharper edges, more than expected actually, however for my combo and room just a little too much at present, will give them a fortnight to hopefully soften a little and make a call on them.

My speakers are Lenehan Audio ML1

i have audio principe xlr cables from my cd to the amp and quite like them. If you bought from Peter you can return them within 14 days I believe
