southern_tango Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 Hello everyone, just a heads up, I came across a couple of suspicious ads in Facebook Marketplace... They appear to be in Melbourne but when you message them, they are in another state... Maybe I am wrong but it is suspicious.... 1
FR DRew Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 There's a Pro-ject 6 Perspex SB in Bathurst that's being sold at a ridiculously low price by a locked profile where the user name and the FB name are nothing alike too... Buyer beware. As always, if it looks too good to be true...
Hi-Fi Whipped Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 Never even consider a product that’s being sold by someone that’s joined Facebook in the same year, most likely a scam. Once you are wise to what a scam account looks like they are easy to spot. 1

Administrator StereoNET Posted September 28, 2024 Administrator Posted September 28, 2024 A nice reminder about why our Classifieds can boast the following stats: Some criticise (and in some cases, borderline abuse!) our Seller's Fees and policies/guidelines, but that is what allows us to dedicate the amount of time and resources, checking and curating every single ad, and protecting the members of the community here to maintain the above stats. That last 1% of feedback is also important to me, so we continue to strive to improve the system. 10 1
AvSat44 Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 I remember seeing the Linn and immediately blocked it and notified Facebook, not that they would do anything.
Whites Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 There is also a Pass Labs Int60 on fb marketplace which looks like a scam.
