Custom room treatment panels

Recommended Posts

Is anyone aware of individuals or businesses that will build custom room treatment panels?  I'm not after a full 'room build' or 'room treatment package' but rather a few absorption panels that are specific sizes but with a top quality fit & finish that will pass muster in terms of the aesthetic. (Yes, I know that I could DIY but I'm sure that if the panels aren't perfect then they will be un-suitable for our shared space).

These are great and look good. BIL has some. Not cheap…

Unfortunately stuck with the one size which may not suit. I like how understated they are.

Wow - it seems as if the price is per unit (and not per set of 3 as is often the case for treatment panels). I'm afraid to ask.

Last I checked GIK Acoustics wasn't servicing Australia. Is there now an Australian distributor?

There isn't one listed on their website, but you'd have to check with them. They do offer custom solutions, however you'd be dealing with them online. Art Novion however definitely have local support through stores like Tivoli Hifi in Melbourne.

I was looking to get 4 panels from GIK USA but the shipping alone was around $1k USD ...and that was a few years ago

  • 2 weeks later...

Primacoustics have their products available in Australia via retailers like Manny's, eg

https://www.mannys.com.au/primacoustic-london-12-room-kit-22-panels-black

My work purchased the London 12 kit, which I installed into a meeting room with very poor acoustics.

The kit arrived as specified and good quality.

The room needs more absorption than the London 12 kit, but all users say the "in room" acoustics are better than prior to treatment.
