Big jump in price from the current 10 series, but credit to them for keeping SACD compatibility going

Hi-Fi Whipped Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Wow, that gold colour looks amazing and I love the clear top so you can see what’s under the hood and what the $$$$ buys you! 2
betty boop Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 (edited) definitely gorgeous think with some lovely engineering …definite halo product for marantz At $25k rrp ? Thinking in competition what will this go up against ? musical fidelity nuvista 800.2 I slightly cheaper be no1 contender ? It’s another beautifully made thing $22k Gryphon300 though tad pricier ? $27k Mark levinson 5805 which is a tad cheaper $19k Dan A progression that’s quite a bit more $37k what other running partners will this have I wonder, folks think of any others ? A Marantz against all of those pictured rivals...................Errr no thanks. I will concede that it does look great though.

Some how I doubt a company like Marantz as made a mistake, I had the earlier PM10 and that sounded fine running a number of different speakers.
Steff Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 (edited) Probably has less power than the 10 series and no onboard DAC 19Kish Edited August 31, 2024 by Steff 1 1
rantan Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 I have no desire to turn this thread into a schit show so let's just say I know where my ( highly theoretical ) money would be spent. ( Any of the other amplifiers already mentioned ) 2

( Any of the other amplifiers already mentioned ) No agreed , at $25k there a lot of choices and classes of amplification to choose from - I’d still like a gryphon Diablo 300 , but they ocd in me says the new pm10 and sa10 would look awesome together in a rack peace out 3 1
