looks quite a change internally from the pm10, ruby, pm12 and 30 series.

Big jump in price from the current 10 series, but credit to them for keeping SACD compatibility going

their flagship av pre processor and multichannel amp were a massive step up from anything they had done previously so expect this will be same ...they are really going all out with these reference pieces these days !

they were already using class D in their top of line 2ch weren't they ? their new flagship multichannel is all class D and its a stunner in sound..

Handsome-looking stuff.

Apparently they use Purify modules plus their proprietary HDAMs.

Will sound terrific.

I didn't want you to be disappointed so I think having Class D as your reference amplifier is a big mistake. A Marantz against all of those pictured rivals...................Errr no thanks.

I will concede that it does look great though.

Some how I doubt a company like Marantz as made a mistake, I had the earlier PM10 and that sounded fine running a number of different speakers.

Probably has less power than the 10 series and no onboard DAC

I have no desire to turn this thread into a schit show so let's just say I know where my ( highly theoretical ) money would be spent.

( Any of the  other amplifiers already mentioned )

No agreed , at $25k there a lot of choices and classes of amplification to choose from - I’d still like a gryphon Diablo 300 , but they ocd in me says the new pm10 and sa10 would look awesome together in a rack 😎

peace out
