cazzesman
My current 10 year old Roberts brand is starting to act weird, so might be due for an upgrade. The Roberts turns itself on and off, loses all the scanned channels and generally acts like a wilful 3-year-old. Any suggestions for a quality new brand? I need DAB+/Internet/Bluetooth/Wifi/Alarm. Under $350 if possible. Regards Cazzesman
David A
I see you're in Melbourne. How does $349 (on sale from $999.00) sound for a Tivoli Audio Networks+ Dab+ radio with a separate stereo speaker? - https://tivolihifi.com.au/products/tivoli-audio-networks-radio-w-speaker?_pos=1&_sid=caa4d4a68&_ss=r That's the radio I use in my bedroom. I only wish the sale price was that low when I bought my radio! The sound is warm and rich. And bass is quite good for it's size. I mainly use the radio for DAB+, and occassionally internet radio for background listening & the two alarms to wake me up. And over the last 8 years it's been reliable and done the job. I've only had one minor technical glitch which James from @Tivoli Hi-Fi troubleshooted with me and resolved. I've also had a couple of dead buttons on the relatively cheap remotes which Tivoli were happy to replace gratus each time. Great service. I'm just not sure if the radio has bluetooth? So you'd have to check. Hope that helps! Edited August 19 by David A
MrBurns84
Another option which i use for each bedroom in the house - google nest hub, which i find quite good, the lenovo smart home one's are a bit better for sound quality.
