sloper
Hello Thought l would share this. Listening the other day and the left channel got weak. Checked connections, swapped amps, swapped out 2 Topping D50's the plugged in a topping D30, all works. Couldnt have blown to Dacs on the same day. Tried them on another system all good. Start poking around the PC and Xonar sound card, the driver was a microsoft one from 2005??? Reinstalled the latest Xonar drivers and its all good. Now l am stumped why the Xonar drivers dissapiered in the first place, this PC only streams music and movies and has been working perfectly for 2 years. l am blaming a Windows update. regards Bruce
BioBrian
I use the ASUS STX ll Xonar card. My son reckons these drivers are still the best - lots of instructions here: https://maxedtech.com/asus-xonar-unified-drivers/ and he says .1825 was the latest version this guy made. Still works for me, though it's not my main system. Cheers and good luck.
muon*
Drivers may have gotten corrupted, with Win 10 you just remove them and restart and they are automatically installed again.
