I have a power amp labelled Rich Audio System Montreal Div. Inc., about which I can't find any information.  It could be that I am just not good at looking, but if anyone can shed any light on this thing I'd be most grateful.

It looks home-made (bespoke?), in a six-sided chassis made of metal and MDF.  I have included a few photo's for reference.

Thanks.

I can't say I'm surprised that no-one seems to know anything about this amplifier.

Disappointed is what I am.

I supppose that it would cost a few hundred dollars to have it re-housed in a neat and solid chassis.  Does anyone know who in W.A. might be able to undertake this work?

No, I haven't contacted them.  I don't recall them coming up when I previously searched.  But then, maybe I'm even worse at searching than I thought I was.

I will drop them a line.

Thanks, Ian, I'm very gratefull for your help.

Searchers are weird, I will do a search on my PC for something and get it on the first page, but when I do the same search on my phone or a friends PC I can't find the damn thing 🙃

Following up on this.  The company in Canada were very quick and helpful in responding, but it was not them who made it.

So.... how does it sound?

Is it 240V?

Yes, it is 240v - from what I can tell.

I think that it sounds very good indeed.  I have another power amp but I have not done a comparison due to the work involved in doing so - basically I am lazy.
