G'day all, my general disability issues seem to be accelerating in recent times to the point where I need to use a walker, as my long used walking stick is no longer safe for me and I actually had a bad fall quite recently, whilst using my stick after doing some home weight training, damaging my left arm (again), so it's just the walker now, although I don't really like using it for obvious reasons but it keeps me mobile, more or less!

Again for obvious reasons, I'm not really able to visit my local gym anymore, so it's just home weight training and use of my AB roller wheel increasingly, and in fact I think that the AB roller is somewhat undervalued as a training tool!

I've even needed to have day surgery recently and have even been dealing with bad recurrent gout attacks which are genetically inherited, and diet related, according to my doctor.  So I've really been 'in the wars' of late, so to speak, but despite going downhill fast I'm still trying my best!  Regards, Felix.

I have a clean diet when you look at it from the perspective of gout and it was definitely inherited ,my father had it for years and kept it at bay with medication even though his diet was not always the best for gout according to western medicine.Try eating a celery stick everyday or take a natural supplement containing it.

G'day mate, yes 'tweaking' my diet and eliminating all fish seems to have stopped all gout attacks thankfully.  Fish and their purine content seems to be the major trigger for gout attacks for me, so maybe that is one win for me (I hope).  Regards, Felix.

That's great news you have found a trigger for you.

I found that coke (the drink) was a trigger for me.

G'day mate.  That's interesting!  I've heard of lots of different 'triggers' for gout.  Regards, Felix.

Sorry to hear you're having difficulties Felix.

I respect that you're doing what's within your control to manage it.

Take care.
